Saturday, September 12th festival goers lined up at the Aaron’s Amphitheater in Atlanta to see some of their all time favorite artists. With a performance line up with some of today’s musical legends along with the new rising stars, the One Music Fest accomplished its mission of uniting people through music. Janelle Monae killed the stage with her electrifying stage presence that was reminiscent of James Brown back in the day, even getting caped like him. She brought out her entire Wondaland crew: Deep Cotton, Roman Gianarthur, St. Beauty, whom all lit up the stage and Jidenna had the crowd pumped when he performed his hit “Classic Man.”

Newcomers: The Internet, SZA T and Raury performed their songs in front of thousands of people and hip-hop legends Bun B, Scarface, 8Ball and MJG brought out the classic hits. New hip-hop greats Big Krit and A$AP Rocky showed their love and respect to all the fans that came. One Music Fest finished up the night with legendary group The Roots and Ms Lauryn Hill, who performed her old music with a new twist. One Music Fest is great music with positivity and love flowing through the atmosphere all night. If you missed this year don’t fret, you can always catch next year’s festivities.
